Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter recently complimented Alia Bhatt for wearing her wedding saree again for the National Awards earlier this year at a promotional event for the Zoya Akhtar film. <p>Suhana said, “I think as somebody with a platform, who has influence, I thought that was incredible and a much-needed message.” “She (Alia) did that and she took a stand towards sustainibility,” Suhana continued. “Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards.” We can repeat an outfit for a function if Alia Bhatt can wear her wedding saree again.</p>

<p>In addition, Alia Bhatt received the Best Actress National Award in recognition of her work in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi. She received her prize along with Kriti Sanon, who won it for her role in the 2021 film Mimi. Alia donned the exquisitely embroidered white organza sari, hand-dyed and embellished with tilla work, that Sabyasachi Mukherjee created especially for her 2022 nuptials with Ranbir Kapoor.</p>

<p>Later on, Alia Bhatt told PTI why she chose to wear her wedding saree again, saying, “Whenever a big moment or event is approaching, you start getting ready for it.” I had an innate feeling that I would wear my wedding saree again. Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed and executed the saree exquisitely, yet it was very much me, with its white and gold color scheme and specific symbolism. I felt most like myself wearing it. And for another reason entirely, it was a really meaningful moment. You may wear a special clothing more than once for a particular event.</p>
